The Graduate Engineering Council (GEC) at Princeton University is excited to support all graduate students in their academic journey at the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). As GEC, our raison d’être is to empower graduate students to thrive, and not just survive, at SEAS!
To accomplish this, we focus on two main goals: fostering a vibrant graduate student community within SEAS and listening to and advocating for student needs.
To foster a vibrant community, we host a variety of social mixers and seasonal gatherings that encourage camaraderie among students. Our student support initiatives focus on promoting work-life balance and well-being. Be sure to check out our upcoming and past events in the Events section!
Advocating for students is a crucial goal for GEC. We serve as a bridge between the student community and the SEAS administration, with the aim to identify ways to enhance the graduate student experience at SEAS. We invite you to reach out to us with ideas on how we and the SEAS administration can collaborate to create a healthier and more productive work environment for SEAS graduate students.
We look forward to meeting you at one of our events!
